Shaun of the Dead star Nick Frost has been cast in one of the lead roles for Fox's comedy pilot Sober Companion.

The British comedian will play Robert in the single-camera comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Robert is a smart and driven lawyer that struggles with a drinking problem.

After bottoming out Robert finds himself with a court-appointed sober companion Jeremy, who is played by Justin Long. Jeremy is described as unconventional when it comes to his job.

Deadline reports that, if picked up, Sober will be Frost's first U.S. TV role.

The show will follow Robert as he learns to deal with trying not to drink and handle having a sober companion around him all the time. Jeremy is appointed to work with Robert on trying to stay away from anything that Frost's character finds fun for 90 days. Robert must get himself together otherwise he likely faces jail time.

Others already cast in the series include Ally Maki and Pete Davidson. The script is being written by David S. Rosenthal and Jennie Snyder Urman. The two will also executive produce.
