Nicole Richie is returning to the field of reality TV. The 32 year old reality TV star is bringing a new series to VH1.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Susan Levison, VH1′s EVP of original programming and development, said in a statement, “Viewers will enjoy her unique point of view and earnest look at pop culture as well her fearless exploration of anything and everything taboo.”

In an interview last year, Richie said she was interested in having another series on television. She starred in the TV series, The Simple Life, with Paris Hilton. During the show, Paris and Nicole accepted various jobs along the east coast, and traveled on a Greyhound Bus. Since then, Nicole Richie has been making her name as a designer and as a mentor on NBC’s Fashion Star.

#CandidlyNicole is based on her AOL web series, which was adapted from her Twitter feed, according to the Associated Press. The VH1 series will show all new content in eight episodes.

The new series will begin on July 17.
