On March 11, Nike officially declined that they were in the works of creating an endorsement contract with Kristen Stewart.

Rumors were flying that the actress was going to be the next face of a Nike campaign. Stewart previously being seen on the red carpet with her Nike sneakers in place of heels may have helped to fuel the rumor.

According to Radar Online, “It’s no secret how much Kristen loves Nikes. She often changes into a pair of Nikes after walking the red carpet in heels.”

Also, according to this source, the Nike brand supposedly wanted to broaden its base from athletes to actors. Supposedly, they want to appeal more to young women.

However according to Vogue UK, Nike cleared up the rumors saying that they have not been discussing any kind of endorsement with her.

“Kristen is very talented and we’re delighted she chooses to wear Nike, but we’re not in discussions with her over an endorsement contract,” a spokesperson from Nike told Vogue UK.

However, it doesn’t look like she’s hurting for endorsement deals. According to Fashionista, Stewart is currently the face of Balenciaga’s Florabontanica fragrance and has additionally been named the face of Chanel’s next campaign for Métiers d’Art Paris‐Dallas collection.
