The NCAA tournament just received its biggest upset of the year as No. 3 seed Duke fell to No. 14 seed Mercer after being a popular Final Four pick.

USA Today reports that Mercer defeated Duke 78-71. Jabari Parker uncharacteristically struggled by shooting 4-for-14 from the field and finishing with 14 points.

The game was tied at 63 with just under two minutes left, but Mercer went on a 15-8 run to seal the upset.

The Blue Devils shot 35.5 percent from the field as a team while allowing the Bears to shoot 55.6 percent. Five different Mercer players scored in double figures.

Leading the Bears in scoring was Jakob Gollon with 20 points, and he also led his team in rebounds with five. Daniel Coursey added 17 points and four rebounds, according to ESPN.

Quinn Cook led the Blue Devils with 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting, including 7-for-10 from the three-point line. Rasheed Sulaimon added 20 points while shooting 5-for-12 from the three-point line. Duke made 15 three-pointers, which was a season-high for them despite their loss.
