Shaquille O’Neal will be releasing a new video game, “Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn.”
According to the Associated Press, O’Neil said, "The old `Shaq Fu' was a `ha, ha, ha. This will not be a `ha, ha, ha.'"
The last game was called “Shaq Fu.” It was a fighting game that was not highly regarded by gaming fans. In the original game, O’Neal’s character entered a kung fu dojo while taking a moment away from a basketball game in Tokyo. Shaq’s continued to battle characters like an evil mummy and a cyborg police officer.
The new video game, “Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn," will be created by Big Deez Productions. The team from Big Deez Productions has had successes like “Halo” and “Street Fighter,” according to The Verge. The studio said that O’Neal’s new game will feature Shaq taking on opponents with hundreds of different moves. Players can use melee weapons and take on battles at number of different levels. The game will feature a Steve Molitz soundtrack.
