The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 102-95 to earn their 50th win of the season. Kevin Durant led the charge for the Thunder as usual by scoring 35 points. Durant also had 11 rebounds and six assists.

The Thunder held a 24-point lead before allowing the Cavaliers to nearly make a comeback, cutting their lead to five. Durant made five free throws in the final minute of the game to seal the Thunder's win, according to ESPN. He was off to a rough start though, missing five of his first six shots.

The Thunder won while playing without two of their regular starters. Russell Westbrook sat out to rest his surgically repaired right knee while Thabo Sefolosha sat out with a strained left calf.

Durant has scored at least 25 points in 33 consecutive games. This is second to Michael Jordan, whose record stands at 40. He achieved this record from 1986-87.

Dion Waiters led the Cavaliers with 30 points, according to Cleveland. Spencer Hawes added 20 points.
