After speculation about whether or not he would be able to play next season, Peyton Manning underwent a neck exam Monday and has been cleared to play.

According to the Denver Post, the Broncos quarterback was reportedly "fully cleared” after the examination.

ESPN noted that Manning, who has been dealing with neck injuries for quite a few years, has had four surgeries and was sidelined for the entire 2011 season before being released by the Indianapolis Colts.

Since his final fusion surgery, his neck has not been an issue and he has shown no signs of slowing down since he got to Denver.

The future Hall of Famer was named the 2013 MVP and led the team to the Super Bowl last year.

Recently, the 37-year-old said had he not been cleared to play, he would not go against doctor’s orders. Luckily Broncos fans don’t have to worry about that now and if he plays anything like last year the team may earn another trip back to the Super Bowl.
