CNN has finally announced when Piers Morgan Live is coming to an end, which will at least make Chelsea Handler happy. The British host’s last night will be March 28 and CNN has a carousel of four hosts who will take turns filling in his hour.

Mogan and CNN confirmed last month that Piers Morgan Live will be ending this month, but no date was set until this week. Deadline confirmed on Thursday that the show will officially end on Friday, March 28. The site’s source claimed that CNN chief Jeff Zucker was talking with Morgan about another possible role at the network.

CNN hasn’t found a permanent replacement for Morgan’s 9 p.m. slot, but they will test out their top talent to see how they do during primetime. According to The Hollywood Reporter, anchors Jake Tapper, Bill Weir, Don Lemmon and Michael Smerconish will all get a shot at the timeslot.

Even though Morgan has been a lame duck host for almost a month, he has not backed down from his controversial interview practices. He recently had Handler on and the comedian bashed him for tweeting during the interview.

Morgan has also remained an active Twitter user and he jsut confirmed that he’s making an appearance in the Entourage movie.
