Real Housewives of New Jersey couple Joe and Teresa Giudice have put in guilty pleas at Newark Federal Court on Tuesday, where they appeared before U.S. District Judge Esther Salas.

The reality stars, who have four daughters; Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4, will be sentenced on July 8.

According to E! Online, the Bravo stars originally pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of fraud. Their legal woes started in July 2013, when they were indicted on 39 counts of fraud. In November 2013, they were indicted on two additional counts.

They’re being accused of defrauding the IRS from 2001-2008, including tax evasion and conspiring to illegally get up to $5 million in loans on illegal pretenses. Among other charges, they’re being accused of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.

The couple asked a judge to try them separately – with Joe facing 37 to 46 months in jail as well as deportation back to Italy and Teresa facing 21 to 27 months in jail.
