Roseanne Barr is set to host the revival of NBC's Last Comic Standing.
The Wrap reports that Barr will judge the competition alongside Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters. JB Smoove will host. Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwitz will serve as producers with Universal Television.
"We are ready to bring back the funny with this relaunch of Last Comic Standing, and can't wait to discover the next great stand-up," NBC's programming president Paul Telegdy said in a statement.
The show will be entering its eighth season, despite being off the air since 2010.
According to Deadline, Last Comic will feature a few format changes. They will have special celebrity guest appearances and unexpected twists.
The season will consist of 13 episodes, and the top 100 comics worldwide will compete for 20 spots. The top 10 will enter challenge rounds consisting of stand-up, sketch comedy, and improv.
Last Comic Standing will premiere May 22 on NBC at 9 pm. It will then air every Thursday at 10 pm.
