The competition is heating up on Dancing with the Stars, and fans are wondering about who might be the next one to be voted off the show.

Two couples went home from the competition. Long distance swimmer Diana Nyad has been sent home already, as has NYRanger Sean Avery. According to Hollywood Life, the upset contestant said that she “wanted to be on the show for years!”

According to the LA Times, Nyad said, “For nine years I’ve wanted to do this show. It’s spectacular, the spirit of it. I only wish that this superlative, handsome young man that I’ve locked my body with for three weeks – he’s elegant and he’s brilliant, and I wish I could have given him a couple more weeks.”

Still on the show is Billy Dee Williams, Emma Slater, and others. Olympian Meryl Davis showed off her dancing skills with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Drew Carey was glad to dance through his 50s routine with partner Cheryl Burke.

The dance competition was hosted by Tom Bergeron. The US version of the show began in 2005.
