Soap opera fans will have an opportunity to see some of their favorite actors in different roles this year. Actor Sean Kanan will be making a move, and joining the cast of the show, The Bold and The Beautiful.
Kanan has been a mainstay on the television soap opera, General Hospital. His character A.J. Quartermaine has been a fan favorite on the show beginning in 1996. The character, A.J. Quartermaine, was shot on General Hospital. According to TV Guide, he was shot point-blank in the chest by Sonny Corinthos played by actor, Maurice Benard. It’s unknown what direction writers will take with the character. He might die on the series.
Kanan will be playing Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful. His new stint on The Bold and The Beautiful will begin on June 13, according to the Examiner. He will begin taping for the show in April. The character of Deacon Sharpe is a carryover from the television series, The Young and the Restless.
Kanan has also been seen on the television shows, Desperate Housewives and Happily Divorced.
