Selena Gomez has been subpoenaed to testify in Justin Bieber’s paparazzi assault case stemming from May 2012. The 21-year-old “Come & Get It” singer was surprised to be served paperwork out in public while running errands in Los Angeles.
Photographs surfaced of Gomez on Thursday, looking glum, getting served the papers by a woman in a bright pink scarf as she walked to her car.
Us Magazine reports the incident she’s been subpoenaed to testify for is when she was with Bieber outside of the Calabasas Commons and he attacked a paparazzo.
During Bieber’s deposition in Miami earlier this month, involving a different case, he got furious when asked about Gomez. "Don't ask me about her, do not ask me about her!" he yelled before storming out.
Amid Bieber’s sea of legal troubles, the couple seems to have gotten back together. They were seen together in Texas following that deposition and they didn’t try to hide their romance.
