Pop starlet Shakira had to ask her soccer player boyfriend, Gerard Pique, for permission to be able to work with Barbadian bombshell Rihanna.
The multi talented Latina told Billboard magazine why she had to ask for permission.
"He's very territorial. Since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women."
Pique doesn’t approve of Shakira having shirtless men being in the music videos. Shakira told the magazine about the changes she’s had to made now that she is in a relationship with Pique.
"It's more than implied in our relationship that I can't do videos like I used to. It's out of the question, which I like, by the way. I like that he protects his turf and he values me, in a way that the only person that he would ever let graze my thigh would be Rihanna."
Despite having a possessive streak Shakira,37, says that they make the perfect couple.
Shakira and Pique have a 13 month-old-son named Milan and the couple wants to keep their little family growing.
In an interview for April’s issue of Latina Shakira opened up about her personal life and how many kids she desires to have to Pique.
“I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard — my own [soccer] team.”
She went on to gush about her Pique and their relationship by saying, “We want the same things, we like the same things, we hate the same things. I have never been with someone so passionate in my life.”
