The Tennessee Titans signed offensive tackle Michael Oher to a four-year contract worth $20 million. $9.5 million of it is guaranteed.

According to ESPN, Oher will fill the right tackle spot vacated by David Stewart, who was released by the Titans after starting for them since the 2006 season.

Oher has failed to live up to expectations since being drafted with the 23rd overall pick by the Baltimore Ravens. He was expected to be a franchise left tackle for the Ravens.

However, Oher has been average at best as a right tackle for the Ravens. He has had trouble with committing penalties, including 24 false starts, and he has struggled in pass protection.

According to CBS Sports, Oher was ranked No. 68 out of 74 tackles by Pro Football Focus in the 2013 season. He was ranked No. 117 on the CBS Sports free agent list.

The Titans will look to keep their protection strong with Oher in the mix and keep quarterback Jake Locker healthy after his extensive injury history.
