Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe are expected to plead guilty to fraud charges that were brought against them last July.
Us Weekly reports that the couple are expected to plead guilty to some of the charges that they are facing. The pair are being indicted on 41 counts of diverse fraud and tax charges. Both Giudices will appear in court on March 4 so it can be decided what punishment they will face. According to a source,"Probation, fines, and or jail time are still all options on the table." The Giudices were originally charged last July with charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and making false statements on loan applications. Then, in November the two were charged with two more charges, but a few days they pleaded not guilty to these charges.
NorthJersey.com reveals how Teresa could be facing spending less than two years in prison. While her husband Joe could be facing a minimum of three years in prison. Both Giudices were offered a special plead deal to avoid serving a lengthy jail sentence. A source said how, "Prosecutors required that the couple accept a “a packaged deal,” meaning that one defendant “could not plead without the other."
