Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t watched the season finale of The Bachelor and are still planning to, do not read
The season finale of ABC’s The Bachelor aired on Monday night, featuring Juan Pablo Galavis wrapping up a controversial season. Galavis picks Nikki Ferrell in the end, but he doesn’t propose.
At the final rose ceremony, upon rejecting runner-up Clare Crawley, she’s pretty angry. She was so angry, in fact, that she wouldn’t even hug him goodbye.
"I've saved this moment for the man of my dreams, and I thought that was you. What you just made me go through -- I would never want my children having a father like you,” she told him, Us Weekly reports. He responded by saying, “I'm glad I didn't pick her."
When it came time to tell Ferrell he had picked her, he let her know he did have an engagement ring in his pocket but he wasn’t “100 percent sure” that he wants to propose – so he didn’t. He didn’t even tell her that he loved her.
"I love how much you care about other people. I love your honesty, so much...I can see you as a good stepmom for Camila,” he told her. "I have a ring in my pocket, but I'm not 100 percent sure that I want to propose to you," he confesses. "But I'm 100 percent sure I don't want to let you go. I like you a lot. A lot."
Daily News reports during the After the Rose special, Galavis and Ferrell reveal they’re still together.
