Joakim Noah and the Chicago Bulls managed to take down LeBron James and the Miami Heat Sunday in Chicago. The Bulls beat the Heat 95-88.
James accepted blame for the loss, because the game went in to overtime due to a key error James made. According to the Miami Herald, James spoke after the game saying, “I dropped the ball. That’s a double entendre, right? I actually dropped the ball, but I also dropped the ball on my team.”
Despite his mistake, James still managed to score 17 points, but made no appearances at the free throw line. This is the Heat’s third loss in a row.
Noah did his part in the exciting victory. According to Sports Illustrated, Noah scored 20 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and had seven assists and five blocks. The center definitely showed why he’s an All-Star.
The Bulls go on to face the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday in Chicago, while the Heat go up against the Washington Wizards in Miami on Monday.
