AMC has promoted three new cast members to series regulars for the upcoming fifth season, the cable network announced on the heels of the show's fourth season finale.

Introduced in the finale, Andrew J. West will be returning as Gareth, who is the head of Terminus, reports Deadline. The other two upped were Christian Serratos and Alanna Masterson.

Serratos plays Rosita, who appears as part of a military group that was tasked with trying to get a scientist, Eugene, to Washington, D.C. She first showed up in the second-half of the fourth season.

Masterson plays Tara, who has been on the show since the early part of the fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She joined up with Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, after dealing with The Governor.

West's Gareth has the largest role of the trio in the upcoming season. Creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman spoke with THR and said, "Seeing Gareth and Rick and the people of Terminus and our survivors go head-to-head is going to be interested."

He added, "There is a very deep, dark and storied history to Terminus and how these people came to be that will be revealed in season five."
