NFL star Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, are reportedly selling their massive Los Angeles estate in order to relocate to Boston, Massachusetts full time.
It comes as a surprise that the couple would put their estate on the market, considering it took them four years to build it. Reports that they’re selling it come less than a year after it was finished being built.
According to TMZ, the New England Patriots quarterback and his wife built the 14,000 square-foot home, which sits on 4 acres, for $40 million and they’re selling it for $50 million.
The home they’re building in Boston will be even bigger- 14,300 square-foot house on 5 acres.
The Brentwood, Calif. mansion was featured in Architectural Digest in September, which revealed that it’s extremely eco-friendly. Ninety percent of the home’s materials were recycled or antiques.
In addition to building a new home in Brookline, Massachusetts, the couple bought a $12 million condo in New York City last fall.
