American rock band, KISS, rose to fame with their catchy pop, rock hits during the late 1970s. Dressed in full out black body suits and platform boots, the group of four created a following of fans that were and still are willing to paint their faces black and white to match the band in concert.
KISS is made up of four members including only two originals. Gene Simmons, Eric Singer, Paul Stanley and Tommy Thayer sport different personas while performing as they embrace their altar egos with face paint. Simmons and Stanley are the two founding fathers of the group.
Recently, KISS announced that the group will not be preforming at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony when they are introduced into the famous club of rock superstars.
Because the band has had such a long history of different members, it was hard for the group to pay homage to all members in supporting what KISS has become throughout the years. Since is founding in the 70s, six members have joined and left sporadically.
Nonetheless, KISS is known for creating some of the best rock songs of the century and TheCelebrityCafe.com is counting down our favorites from “Beth” to “I Was Made For Loving You.”
