All we can say is HOLY COW this Monday’s Teen Wolf episode ‘Insatiable’ had us all trying to catch our breath. Unfortunately just as the teasers had said a hero has fallen in this one and we are all still in shock as to which of our beloved characters it was. As Scott and his pack continue to try and find a way to stop the Nogitsune, Kira is finding out more about her mother. Last night was a race to find Lydia and evil Stiles before dawn and before Noshiko and the oni found him. Creator Jeff Davis sure knows how to keep his fans on the edge. As we all prepare for the season final next week we narrowed down our top 10 moments from this weeks episode ‘Insatiable’.

10. The aftermath of the firefly.

It was a little gross to say the least watching Deaton get these all-evil flies out of Isaac, Ethan and Aiden. Like they said if a little fly could make the three of these werewolves go a little crazy then imagine the real power of the Nogitsune.

9. The changing relationship between Derek and Chris Argent.

Chris Argent stated it best when he said to Derek, “you’re not my enemy anymore, Derek And I’m not yours.” This line definitely has summed up their evolving relationship this season. It says they aren’t BFFs but they aren’t at war anymore, they are at the point where they are realize it’s better to work together than against one and other. Each of them have made mistakes in the past and it seems they highly regret it and that maybe that is the reason why they are drawn to help each other out more.

8. What is this game that the Nogitsune is playing?

In last week’s episode ‘DeVoid’ we saw Stiles playing a game in his head with the Nogitsune. In this week’s episode Noshiko explains to Kira the importance that game called Go has for the Nogitsune. It is a game involving territory and taking over the board. There are many different styles of playing which can say a lot about a person. Seeing the way Noshiko has covered the board answers a lot of questions for Kira.

7. The Twins have been shot!

The twins are down! First being apart of the ever-powerful Alpha pack (last season) and now down to being Omegas the twins have pissed off a lot of people and the idea of that doesn’t leave their mind. This is why it’s so important for them to join Scott’s pack so they have the safety of pack protection.

6. Whose bullets are they?

After Derek and Argent help bring the twins back to the loft to recover they take a look at the bullets that hit the twins. It seems like Argent knows who may have fired the shots and who maybe targeting them.

5. Scott’s Dad finally tells Scott why he left so many years ago

This is something we all have been wondering for a while, the real reason Scott’s dad ever left him in the first place. It turns out he was an alcoholic and Melissa didn’t want him near them anymore. In Melissa’s defense she was just trying to protect Scott. As explained in his story

4. Officer Parrish who are you?

Officer Parrish has been getting a lot more airtime than any other officer in Beacon Hills. This week we got to learn a little more about him. Sheriff Stilinski started with the questions, which made us ask ourselves.. Who is he and what is he doing in Beacon Hills? Hopefully Officer Parrish too has some big dark secret too.

3. The Meredith connection.

We first came across Meredith at Eichen House. She seems to be a banshee just like Lydia but although she may be a little crazy she knows a lot more than the rest of them. Meredith seems to kind of have a lock on her abilities maybe this is something Lydia can turn to later on to learn more about her banshee-ness.

2. Stiles is building his army

Clearly Nogitsune Stiles did the math and realized he needs an army to take on Noshiko and Scott’s pack. He has now gained control of the powerful uni by changing the leadership from Noshiko to him by breaking the stick. They now go after whomever Stiles wants.

1. A hero has fallen

In the ultimate gut-wrenching last 5 minutes it is Allison who takes a sword and falls. As we begin to pick our jaws up off the floor we cannot believe it, creator Jeff Davis has killed off one of the characters that we though would be there until the very end. In true Argent fashion she died fighting the supernatural and all we can say is being in the Argent family is no good. In Allison’s last moments however she gave us all the ultimate lovers goodbye. Just as Scott tries to take away her pain he cant because she is in no pain as she passes. Allison tells Scott (which has us all weeping) “I’m in the arms of the first person I ever loved, the person I’ll always love. I love you, Scott McCall.” The way this was done on Teen Wolf truly honored Allison’s character and gave us a beautiful closing to the love that Allison and Scott has shared. Of course with the passing of Allison it is going to impact everyone and next season we think it’s going to deal with how each of them copes with the loss.
