Pharrell Williams dropped his second solo studio album this week to great reviews. The mega-producer has worked with more artists than he can count, both producing and singing. He’s also called on a few of his friends to help him out with his own music. His recent success over his latest single, “Happy,” is a solo effort that earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song, but many of his famous songs are collaborations.

Pharrell has always had a strong presence in the hip hop, R&B and rap community, so his help has always been solicited by famous artists such as Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg. For his newest album, G I R L, he called on Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus and JoJo to lend their great vocals to a few of his killer tracks. 10. Daft Punk returned to dominate the charts in 2013 with the release of their new album, Random Access Memories. Pharrell sang on their first single off the album. The song took home two Grammys, including Record of the Year.
