Queen is one of the most influential rock band in Rock N’ Roll history. The British band formed in 1970 in London. The original band line up consisted of Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals).
The band gained inspiration from hard rock and heavy metal but when they got down to the studio their music was unique and gained a large fan base. One of the many reasons that Queen stood out from the rest was their flamboyant front man Freddie Mercury. Not only did he have an amazing stage presence, but his powerful vocals made their music come alive.
