Few shows did well on Monday night, with The Voice leading the way despite a slight fall and Dancing With the Stars getting off to a low start against the NBC signing competition.
NBC easily won the night, topping the 18-49 demographic with a 3.6 rating and 12.6 million viewers, reports TVByTheNumbers. The Voice averaged a 4.0 key rating, though dropped from the previous week. The Blacklist was up for the night to a 2.8 in the demo.
ABC beat out NBC in total viewers with 13.3 million, but lost in the demo with only a 2.2 rating. According to The Hollywood Reporter, DWtS tied a premiere low with a 2.5 in the demo, unable to compete against The Voice for the first time. Castle was up on the night with a 1.8 in the demo.
CBS averaged a 1.8 in the 18-49 demo and 6.7 million viewers. How I Met Your Mother improved slightly from last week with a 2.9 in the demo, while 2 Broke Girls hit a series low. Mike & Molly remained even with a 1.8 rating. Mom fell to a 1.8 and Intelligence sank to a 1.1 in the demo.
Bones and The Following fell to a 1.4 in the demo, though for the latter it was a series low. Fox averaged a 1.4 rating and 4.8 million viewers.
The CW averaged 1.1 million viewers and a 0.4 in the demo with both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People remaining even with the previous week with a 0.4 in the demo.
