While NCAA Tournament action controls the night for CBS, NBC's drama Hannibal continues to see improvement and tied its season premiere.
For Friday night, CBS averaged 9.855 million viewers and a 3.1 in the 18-49 demographic, reports HitFix. The 9 p.m. timeslot was when demo numbers were their strongest with a 3.3 rating.
In a distant second, NBC averaged a 1.3 in the advertiser-important demo and 6.55 million viewers. Dateline was steady with a 1.4 in the demo, while Hannibal improved to a 1.1 rating, to tie a season high.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC was right behind NBC with a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demo. Last Man Standing remained even with a 1.3 in the demo and The Neighbors ticked up to a 1.0 rating. 20/20 slipped to a 1.3 in the demo following a Shark Tank encore.
Fox saw mostly drops for the night, with an average of 1.7 million viewers and a 0.4 in the demo. Both Rake and Enlisted slipped to series lows with a 0.4 in the demo. Raising Hope did improve slightly to a 0.5 demo rating.
The CW tied Fox in the demo with a 0.4 and averaged 1.38 million viewers.Whose Line Is It Anyway dropped to a 0.5 in the demo. Hart of Dixie did tick upwards slightly, to a 0.4 rating.
