Native Ukrainian Valeria Lukyanova, known famously as the “Human Barbie,” spoke candidly this week during an interview with GQ Russia editor Michael Idov.
According to Fox News, the 28 year old model revealed controversial opinions during her one-on-one GQ interview with Idov, and discussed her conceptions of beauty, feminism, and fame. In one startling revelaton, she told Idov that “having children brings out this deep revulsion in me,” and that "I'd rather die from torture” then to start a family of her own, which she feels is an act of selfishness.
She tells GQ, "Most people have children to fulfill their own ambitions, not to give anything. They don't think about what they can give this child, what they can teach her.”
Daily Mail reports that Lukanova became famous in 2012 after releasing videos on YouTube as a form of counseling. Lukanova claims that her breast implants were the only thing altered through plastic surgery despite online rumors, and her 18 inch waist is the result of diet and exercise. However she finds alterations acceptable, telling Idov “Everyone strives for the golden mean. It’s global now.”
Lukanova recently took photos with American Justin Jedlica, the “Human Ken.”
