James Cameron is the executive producer on the new documentary series, Years of Living Dangerously.

"This is such a critical time," Cameron said in an interview to Reuters. "The devastation to the planet that we'll be experiencing in the next century is really, I think, pretty unfathomable for most people, and I think that what the series can do is to bring it home and make it real, make it real in people terms."

Years of Living Dangerously is a documentary about climate change told in nine parts. It features commentary about the Indonesian forests and the California wildfires. Actors Harrison Ford, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Jessica Alba, and Michael C. Hall appear in the series. The documentary also features Arnold Schwarzenegger considering a fire season that “seemed to last all year,” according to Variety.

Showtime announced Years of Living Dangerously with their line-up earlier this year. Other shows on the Showtime network this season include Penny Dreadful.

Years of Living Dangerously will premiere on Sunday on Showtime.
