Although Breaking Bad has unfortunately come to an end, Bryan Cranston still uses his character of Walter White to attempt at doing some good. He even helped a high school junior ask his date to prom.
Stefan Montana thought of the perfect way to ask his friend Maddie to prom—what better way than to have Bryan Cranston do it for you?
After Cranston’s performance of the broadway show “All the Way,” Montana approached and asked Cranston if he would record a message in hopes of helping him land his date to junior prom at Los Gatos High School in California.
The message included the ever so famous line Walter White delivers to his brother-in law who just so happens to be a DEA, according to CBS News.
"Would you say Maddie, if you don't go to prom with Stefan, then maybe your best course of action would be to tread lightly?" the 17-year-old asked Cranston, reports NY Daily News.
Cranston didn’t think twice about helping the student, as does his character Walter White as a High School chemistry teacher.
"He really is the nicest guy in the world. It really is true. He's not really a celebrity, he's a dude. He didn't have to help me out but it was pretty amazing,” said Montana.
Montana asked Maddie via Instagram and she accepted the invitation that same night.
The pressure is on for Montana’s next endeavor, which will be for senior prom.
"That's the big question. I'll have to one up myself," he said. "I don't know how I'll do it. I probably won't get as lucky as I did this time,” reports NY Daily News.
