Cobie Smulders is set to return as Agent Maria Hill on ABC's Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Smulders return will mark her second time appearing on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Smulder's second appearance is scheduled to air on April 29. Smulder's character of Agent Maria Hill can currently be seen on movie screens in the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Smulder's character of Agent Hill hinted that she might be looking for a new job because of the break up of the SHIELD team.
The Wrap reports that Smulder's return to Marvel's Agents of SHIELD comes just in time for May sweeps. News of Smulder's return to Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, comes a week after she ended her nine year run as Robin on How I Met Your Mother. Besides, appearing as Agent Maria Hill in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, Smulders has also appeared as Agent Hill in the 2012 film The The Avengers and is set to reprise the role again in the sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, which hits movie theaters next year.
