Former general manager for female oriented website DailyCandy, Allison Moore found employment quickly within the NBC Universal family and was named GM and EVP of TV Everywhere.

According to Variety the former Senior Vice President of digital projects at HBO will now be responsible for TV Everywhere initiatives, including developing marketing and strategy to increase audience awareness, adoption and usage across the company’s networks.

Moore’s former DailyCandy, along with Television Without Pity, were shut down by NBC Universal due to lack of traffic, according to ReCode.net. Attempts to sell the properties were made, but unfortunately, were unsuccessful.

The concept for TV Everywhere is exactly what it sounds like, having the ability to stream TV from different devices, and “cutting the cord” from traditional cable companies using services like Hulu and Netflix. Comcast, NBC Universal’s parent company, has been strategizing ways to keep subscribers while providing customers to stream shows, most notably enabling customers to stream this year’s Olympics live on any device.
