Amazon.com has added another highly popular television show to their instant streaming services. The company announced that they have the rights to exclusively stream all eight seasons of Fox's 24.

Amazon Prime will also be showing the series 24: Live Another Day, that will be airing on May 5th on Fox, Variety reported. This announcement came shortly after Netflix explained that its rights to 24 expired on April 1st.

Under this deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, Amazon Prime will be able the only online subscription home streaming service that can show all 192 eposide of the drama.

Prime is has already gained the rights to the popular Under the Dome and the upcoming Extant that will star Halle Berry, Deadline added. Extant will be show only four days after it airs on television.

The instant stream network has also just reached a deal to show FX's original series The Americans.

Brad Beale, director of digital video content acquisition for Amazon, spoke about how important it is to bring new and original programing to fans along with classics like 24. “’24′ has been extremely popular with Amazon customers over the years. Whether they are hard-core Jack Bauer fans or just discovering the series for the first time, Prime members are going to love catching up on the previous seasons of ’24′ as well as ’24: Live Another Day," said Beale.
