Dancing with the Stars contestant Amy Purdy was hospitalized during Monday night’s taping, but the star has revealed she is doing everything she can to heal in order to continue to compete.

The 34-year-old took to Twitter to give an update on her health status.

"So, Looks like I have a rib out of place and my muscles are in spasm," she said Tuesday morning.

Despite the injury, Purdy plans to push through and continue to do the show.

"I am being very proactive in healing up so I can continue this journey,” she added.

According to E! News, a source also revealed that Purdy is being treated by the doctors and the shows execs will know more about whether she can compete later this week.

The paralympian snowboarder was taken to the hospital after suffering from back problems, according to Us Weekly.

"Right after judging, I turned my head and my back cracked and it just seized up," Purdy told Erin Andrews in a backstage interview. "Everything's really painful right now. It's hard to breathe."

Purdy’s dance partner, Derek Hough, followed her to the hospital. While there, she tweeted out her thanks to fans for their support.
