It was recently reported that Bachelorette contestant, Eric Hill, was in critical condition after a tragic paragliding accident, but Hill’s family has confirmed the 32-year-old passed away this morning.
Hill’s sister, Karen Tracy, announced the terrible news on her Facebook page Wednesday morning.

“Thank you to all of your love and support and prayers and fasting. It was amazing to be with so many of his friends and family yesterday in the hospital who came to express their love for Eric. He gave us such a gift of a life fully lived and fully shared, and allowed us all to be a part of his last adventure here on earth,” Tracy said.
The show’s producers released a statement expressing their sadness and support for Hill’s family, according to E! News.
“Eric inspired us every day with his passion, his courage and his adventurous spirit, and for that we are very thankful.”
Bachelorette host, Chris Harrison, also tweeted his support:

The biology graduate was on a mission to travel to all 195 United Nations-recognized countries in 1,200 days before he passed away, and he started The Global Odyssey, also known as GO with Eric, in February 2013. The project’s goal was to show each country’s culture on a personal level.
