The death of Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill, has left the entire team at the show shocked and saddened.

Hill, 31, died on Wednesday after a tragic accident while paragliding, in which his parachute collapsed and he crashed into a hillside, reports Entertainmentwise.

Creator of the ABC hit dating show, Mike Fleiss, has since spoken out on Hill’s sudden death.

“We're all just devastated. He was such a vibrant, young dude. He was. It's tragic. He was such a young guy who lived life to the fullest,” Fleiss told E! News. “I couldn't believe it when I heard. I'm still in shock. We're all in shock. This transcends everything, certainly a television show."

Hill was featured as a contestant on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette with Andi Dorfman, which leaves producers in a bit pf a predicament as to whether or not to feature him on the show.

Hill reportedly earned the first one-on-one date and it is still unclear how far he made it through the process. Dorfman is currently still filming, however, Hill had been eliminated before the accident.

“We're going to try to be as sensitive as possible," Fleiss said. "It's a bizarre predicament that we never expected to be in, but our problems aren't important. It's about his family now. My heart goes out to them. I pray for them and my staff, they're just wrecked.”

The Bachelorette premieres on May 19.
