The Buffalo Bills have acquired wide receiver Mike Williams from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers via trade.
ESPN reports that the Bills are giving Tampa Bay a sixth-round pick in the NFL Draft in May in exchange for Williams.
Williams gives the Bills another solid wide receiver alongside their star receiver Stevie Johnson. He is a good receiver but did not have a lot of success in 2013 and made news for a lot of the wrong reasons.
Williams suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in October during the 2013 season. The bad news for him did not stop there. He was also arrested, faced lawsuits for his conduct at a rental home and was stabbed in the thigh by his brother, according to ProFootballTalk.
Williams was selected by the Buccaneers in the fourth-round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Syracuse, according to ESPN.
If Williams can stay out of trouble off the field, stay healthy on the field and play the same as he did before the 2013 season, the Bills will have a great addition to their offense and give their quarterback, E.J. Manuel, another great weapon to throw to.
