Actor Al Pacino, NBA star Tim Duncan and actor Hank Azaria are celebrating their birthdays today.
Al Pacino, who starred in The Godfather trilogy and Scarface, is celebrating his 74th birthday.
In addition to his mobster film roles, Pacino was nominated for many Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actor Academy Awards. He finally won an award for Best Leading Actor in 1993 for his performance in Scent of a Woman.
His nominations for Best Leading Actor include his roles in The Godfather Part II, Dog Day Afternoon and …And Justice for All.
Pacino has also achieved success on stage, winning Tony Awards for Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel.
Tim Duncan, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs, is celebrating his 38th birthday.
Duncan is widely known as one of the greatest NBA power forwards of all time, and he has won four NBA titles with the Spurs since being drafted by them in 1997. He won the NBA Finals MVP award in three of those championships.
He has remained in San Antonio his entire career, and he has won two NBA MVP awards in addition to leading the Spurs to championships.
Duncan has also made 14 trips to the NBA All Star Game in his career while averaging 19.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.
Hank Azaria, who is well-known for his voice acting work on The Simpsons, is celebrating his 50th birthday.
Azaria has performed voices of Simpsons characters such as Moe, Chief Wiggum, Apu and Comic Book Guy.
Azaria has also acted in films such as Birdcage, Along Came Polly and Run Fatboy Run.
His accomplishments include winning four Emmy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
