Paul Rudd, 45
Actor, comedian, screenwriter, and musician Paul Rudd turns 45 today. Rudd made his acting debut in 1992 in the television series Sisters. He had a temporary recurring role on Wild Oats in 1994. In 1995, after leaving Sisters, Rudd appeared in the film Clueless alongside Alicia Silverstone. He then went on to star in the films Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, Overnight Delivery, and The Cider House Rules.
In 2004, Rudd started working with director and producer, Judd Aptow, in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. He also starred in other Aptow films including The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Wanderlust, and This Is 40. In 2007, Rudd starred in and wrote the comedy Role Models.
Rudd co-created the Starz series Party Down with John Embom. Rudd has also starred in Dinner for Schmucks, Monsters Vs. Aliens, and Our Idiot Brother. Marvel has confirmed his role as Ant-Man in the upcoming 2015 film. Rudd is married to Julie Yaeger and has 2 children.
Zach Braff, 39
Actor, director, and screenwriter Zach Braff turns 39 today. Braff appeared in the television show The Babysitter's Club in 1990. He then appeared in the 1993 Woody Allen film Manhattan Murder Mystery. In 2001, Braff earned his first major role as John "J.D." Dorian in the television series Scrubs. Braff directed several episodes, and later became executive producer.
Braff wrote, produced, and starred in the 2004 film Garden State. He won a Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media for the Garden State soundtrack. Braff also directed a few music videos including Gavin DeGraw's "Chariot," Joshua Radin's "Closer" and "I'd Rather Be With You," and Lazlo Bane's "Superman."
Braff has also starred in The Last Kiss, Chicken Little, The High Cost of Living, The Ex, and Oz the Great and Powerful. Braff started a Kickstarter campaign to finance his next film, Wish I Was Here, which was based on a script he wrote with his brother Adam Braff. The $2,000,000 goal was reached in three days.
