Chelsea Handler has been the face of late night television on E! for eight years but is now leaving at the end of the year.
As earlier reported by ABC News, "Chelsea intends to leave when her contract expires. She hired me to figure out her life after E! We have at least seven suitors and many ideas," Handler's manager Irving Azoff told THR.
Handler was the comedian on her show entitled ‘Chelsea Lately’ and was reportedly making around $9 million a year and had more than 500,000 viewers a night. Her viewership in 2010 was at a staggering 839,000 but unfortunately had dropped over the years. TIME has reported that she referred to the network on the Howard Stern Radio show as “ a sad, sad place to live.”
“They don’t know what they’re doing. They have no ideas. It’s a failure,” Handler said.
Handler is considering having her own radio program as well as a nightly or weekly late-night show on a different network, said her manager.
