Chris Brown’s assault trial for allegedly punching a man in Washington D.C. back in October of 2013 was postponed. Due to the current trial with Brown’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, a judge put off the verdict until the Hollosy’s trial was concluded first.
District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Patricia Wynn said that she will use Monday to determine the verdict for Brown’s bodyguard based on a misdemeanor assault charge, reported Tribune Wire.
During the alleged assault at a hotel in Washington D.C. on Oct. 27, 2013, a photographer, Parker Adams, attempted to take a picture when Brown supposedly punched the man before Hollosy followed suit.
Brown has been accused of the same thing as Hollosy and his trial will begin immediately after a verdict is given for the bodyguard's.
As previously reported Brown has been spending his time in jail while he awaits his trial. Brown was kicked out of rehab in March for unknown reasons and arrested. Brown’s troubling times go back to 2009 when the singer assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna and was given five years probation.
