New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has taken to Twitter to slam David Letterman, who is retiring next year. He then showed his support to his replacement, Stephen Colbert.
Christie posted a screenshot of an example of Letterman’s “fat jokes” against him and wrote, “Oh @letterman, I’m really gonna miss your fat jokes. Wait, no I’m not. #ColbertNation.”

CNN reports Christie was referring to a segment that aired on the Late Show on Tuesday night, in which a mock "CBS News Special Report" appeared featuring Christie and his recent "Father of the Year" award recognition.
"The word Father contains the word 'fat,'" said a narrator. "And Governor Christie is fat."
Christie was given the honor by the Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council on Monday.
In February 2013, Christie appeared on Late Show with David Letterman and made light of the fat jokes by pulling a donut from his pocket and eating it during his segment.
He said at the time of the jokes, "I only care if you're funny. From my perspective, if the joke is funny, I laugh. If it's not funny, I don't laugh. But I've never felt like it was anything that bugged me all that much."
