Chris Martin had an affair with an SNL assistant

After Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their split last week, rumors of infidelity on both sides have been swirling around.

According to the New York Post, Martin had an affair with a Saturday Night Live assistant after he appeared on the show in 2011.

“He had an affair with a woman who was backstage and was part of the an entourage. Everyone was talking about it because he was openly flirting with her at one of the show after-parties,” said a source.

Martin’s reps have yet to make statement about the allegations. Paltrow’s rep said, “I don’t rep Chris so I cannot address those accusations.”

Paltrow and Martin are said to have had an open marriage notes Fox News.

Paltrow has been linked with Miami billionaire Jeff Soffer and entertainment lawyer Rick Yorn. Paltrow has vehemently denied the claims.

“We have time and time again denied any romantic relationship with Jeff Soffer and Gwyneth. Your source is either wrong or fake,” said Paltrow’s spokesman.

Martin and Paltrow have remained amicable in their split and are currently vacationing together with family and friends.
