Chris Martin reportedly had affair prior to Gwyneth Paltrow split

Chris Martin reportedly had an affair prior to his divorce with wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to In Touch, Martin cheated on then-wife Paltrow with an SNL assistant when he was on the show back in November 2011.

An SNL staffer shared the info about the Coldplay front man, although they weren't entirely sure about the person's title at the show.

"He had an affair with a woman who was backstage and was part of an entourage. Everyone was talking about it because he was openly flirting with her at one of the show after-parties," the NBC source told Page Six.

Although these are new allegations, this will not be the first time that Martin and> Paltrow have been accused of cheating.

According to MSN, Martin reportedly had an affair with actress Kate Bosworth in 2009, while Paltrow reportedly had one with billionaire Jeff Soffer in 2008.

Martin and Paltrow announced their split via Paltrow's website Goop citing "conscious uncoupling".
