Free agent wide receiver Nate Burleson agreed to a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday night.Financial terms were not disclosed.

Burleson isn’t the only receiver that the Browns have signed this offseason. Andrew Hawkins, who was also a free agent, signed with the Browns after playing with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to the Associated Press. The Browns now have depth at the receiver position, as they now have seven receivers. Hawkins and Burleson join Josh Cooper, Tori Gurley, Conner Vernon, Travis Benjamin, and Charles Johnson. Benjamin and Johnson are returning from ACL surgery.

The Minnesota Vikings drafted Burleson in the third round in 2003. In 12 seasons in the NFL he played three years with the Vikings, four with the Seattle Seahawks, and the last four seasons with the Detroit Lions. The Lions released him in February. Last year he missed seven games due to a broken arm. In nine games last year Burleson had 39 catches for 461 yards and one touchdown, according to Fox Sports.

Burleson has 457 career receptions for 5,530 yards and 39 touchdowns. He will compete with Pro Bowl receiver Josh Gordon for the starting receiver spot.
