Amazon is offering to pay warehouse employees up to $5,000 to quit their jobs. The offer is a strategy in weeding out the bad eggs and leaving only those who really love their job. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced the program Friday in hopes of recognizing which employees are willing to stay with the company long-term and letting go those who would be happier somewhere else.
A competitive weekend ahead for box office scores as Captain America: Winter Soldier and Rio 2 are both projected to earn approximately $46 million with a Friday launch of $10 million. Draft Day and Oculus will also open this weekend, but will not be competing for the top box office spot. Each are projected to earn $12 million
Anna Trujillo, the woman accused of murdering her boyfriend with a stiletto heel, was sentenced to life in prison Friday. Trujillo claimed she was trying to get away from her boyfriend, Alf Stefan Anderson after the two got into a heated argument. The 45-year-old woman was found guilty of murder after hitting Anderson in the head 25 times while sitting on top of him.
