Get ready for a new reality series on TVGN. A new TV program featuring pop stars, New Kids on the Block called Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block will air this season.
It is an eight-episode series. The five person boy band will be journeying to the sea to spend time with fans. The series takes place over a one week time period. Actor Donnie Wahlberg, a member of NKOB, is an executive producer of the show.
The new series comes from the TV Guide Network, according to Hollywood Reporter. The show will be launched in September.
The show will air on the cable outlet associated with the TV Guide, TVGN. TVGN entertainment president Brad Schwartz said that could turn the program into a franchise like Bravo’s Desperate Housewives. Schwartz says that he is thinking of continuing the idea of casting three bands. He says it is a show for people interested in “fandom culture,” according to Variety.
