Ellen DeGeneres has topped OUT magazine’s Power 50 list of most influential gay celebrities. The syndicated daytime talk show host, who is married to Arrested Development star Portia de Rossi, ranked second in 2013.
The list also includes actress Ellen Page at No. 29, who came out in February of this year, and R&B singer Frank Ocean at No. 42, who came out last year.
ABC’s Good Morning America co-anchor, Robin Roberts, made the list at No. 10, becoming the first African American woman to make the top 10 in OUT’s eight years making this list, USA Today reports.
"In March, The Ellen DeGeneres Show shattered its own 10-year ratings record in the episode that immediately followed her Academy Awards hosting gig, which also gave the awards its best ratings since 2004,” the publication said about DeGeneres. “And her star-studded Oscars selfie almost shut down Twitter when the pic became the most retweeted ever."
Other celebs to make the list are designer Marc Jacobs at No. 39, financial guru Suze Orman at No. 35 and Glee star Jane Lynch at No. 20.
