Emily Blunt opened up about becoming a mother and her pregnancy in the April 2014 issue of Vogue.

Blunt – who was eight months pregnant at the time of the shoot – agreed to do the magazine spread after finishing filming for her new movie Into the Woods with co-stars Johnny Depp, Chris Pine and Merly Streep, according to Us Weekly.

"It's really the coolest thing that's ever happened to me," Blunt told the magazine about her impeding motherhood. "I feel good, although I do wake up feeling like my grandmother."

According to E! News, the mom-to-be allowed the indulgence of one coffee per day and fell in love with gluten-free cookies.

"I know everyone rolls their eyes, but I met a hippie doctor who suggested it, and it's really helped me in the pregnancy," she said.

The 30-year-old took a “non-fuss, non-intense” approach to preparing for her new baby girl and reported she was told not to go online and to “read as few books” as possible.

Blunt and her husband, John Krasinksi, 34, welcomed their first child, Hazel back in February.
