Emma Stone is featured on the cover of the May issue of Vogue and inside its pages, she opens up about her Amazing-Spiderman 2 co-star and off-screen boyfriend Andrew Garfield.
She gushed about being able to work with him on the franchise, saying they’ve been “companions” to each other through it all.
"I think I've learned a lot by being around him. And, you know, he is an incredibly important person to me,” she told Vogue.
Stone, 25, continued, "I thank my lucky stars that we've been able to be on this ride together. We all need companions in the mystery to get you out of your head and into your heart, to moan to and to take the piss out of it all with."
E! Online notes director Marc Webb even chimed in about the couple’s chemistry on-set.
Webb said it’s not something they can “fake” when they’re working together. "There are so many tiny nonverbal cues that they are issuing each other and picking up on,” he explained.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2 featuring Stone as Gwen Stacy, Garfield as Peter Parker and Jamie Foxx as Electro.
