Fox has had enough of Rake's miserable ratings and has decided to close out the series this Saturday, marking its third and final move.

Instead of airing the final two episodes of the series over the next two Fridays, Rake will instead move to this Saturday night and air both episodes back-to-back, reports Variety.

The series, which stars Greg Kinnear, originally began its run in January on Thursday nights, but after a weak debut and the following episodes not doing any better, Rake got relegated to a Friday time slot.

Last week, the show only averaged a 0.4 in the advertiser-important 18-49 demographic and 1.9 million viewers. Those numbers are not strong for any major network program, so it's a surprise it took until near the show's end for Fox to move towards burning off excess episodes and moving on.

In the now empty Friday slot, Fox will air last season's finale of Kitchen Nightmares, according to Deadline. Following that will be the hourlong end to comedy Raising Hope, which actually saw some minor improvement in the ratings after it was cancelled.
